Above & Beyond Care Ltd is a family-run home care provider in Ipswich. We're opposed to modern slavery and human trafficking in any form, and we work to make sure it has no place in our business. We aren't legally required to publish a statement, as the law only covers organisations with a turnover above £36 million, but we've chosen to explain our approach. We review it every year. This statement was approved by Alison Liffen, Director, on 8 October 2026.

We check everyone before they start work with us, including their identity, right to work in the UK, references and an enhanced DBS check.

Our staff learn the signs of modern slavery during their induction, and because our carers visit people at home, they're well placed to notice if something isn't right.

Staff report any concern to Alison Liffen, our Registered Manager, who passes it on to the Modern Slavery Helpline (08000 121 700) or the police.
