Established in 2011, Above & Beyond Care Ltd is an independent, family run care provider owned and managed by Alison Liffen.
With over 20 years of experience within domiciliary care, Alison has developed extensive expertise in supporting older people, individuals with special needs, those living with dementia, and those requiring palliative care. She is a qualified NVQ Assessor within the care industry, a People Movers Moving & Handling Trainer and Assessor, and a certified First Aid Trainer.
Our mission is to deliver high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care that enables individuals to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. We are committed to providing continuity of care, ensuring our clients receive consistent support from a dedicated team of compassionate professionals who treat every individual with dignity, respect and understanding.
Our experienced care team is carefully selected, fully vetted and comprehensively trained before working within the community. Every member of staff is encouraged to complete the Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or higher, and all management are trained to Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.

Above & Beyond Care Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is fully accredited to support individuals through a range of care arrangements, including local authority-funded care, NHS-funded care, Direct Payments and self-funded care.
For individuals wishing to access care through the Direct Payments scheme, we can provide guidance and support to help you maintain greater choice, independence and control over your care package.
We also welcome self-funding clients and can offer flexible care and support designed around your individual requirements. Whether you are arranging care for yourself or a loved one, our experienced team is here to provide advice, reassurance and high-quality care every step of the way.
